Event Overview
Study New York held its 2nd Annual “Why I Love Studying in New York” student photo competition August to October 2016. International students enrolled in Study New York member campuses were invited to submit photos in 3 categories and a new video category. Over 80 photo submissions were received from across New York State representing over 25 countries. Photos can be viewed at: https://www.facebook.com/studyny.
The photo competition winners were announced at a reception on November 29, 2016 at Pace University’s New York City campus. Forty Study New York member schools and consular representatives from Algeria, Portugal, Greece, Bangladesh, Basque Region, Germany, and Kosovo attended. It was a great opportunity for member schools to network with the New York consular community and highlight the economic contributions international students make to New York.
