Student Activities and Campus Life

Marist welcomes students from a rich diversity of backgrounds and cultures.  We’re committed to their success. One resource to help us achieve that goal is the Center for Multicultural Affairs, which sponsors programs and activities to help all students make a smooth transition to campus life and to help in their personal, social and cultural development. The Center also acts as a support to student groups and culturally focused clubs, such as the Black Student Union, the Asian Alliance, the International Students Club and others. Organizations such as these are not just limited to students of a particular ethnic or racial background but are rich opportunities for everyone to engross themselves in knowledge of various countries and cultures. Other clubs and organizations that are popular with our students include music and theatre groups, Campus Ministry, Student Government, intramural and club sports, media-oriented clubs such as the TV and radio stations, our student-run newspaper and magazine, gaming, anime, the business club and many more! There are also a number of academic based clubs to participate in. There is sure to be an organization that matches your interests, and if there isn’t one, you can create your own!
